Mail Server Reference Card

Mercury's Mail Server can automatically process a wide range of
commands. To use the mail server, send a message to the mail
server's address (usually "maiser") containing the commands you
wish it to process, one command per line. Processing ends when a
blank line or an EXIT command is encountered.
In the list of recognized commands that follows, commands prefixed
with "*" may be disabled at some sites depending on their policies.
User-level mailing list commands:

QUIET
- This command can prefix any of the following commands; if
present, it suppresses any subscription-related messages
that might be generated by the command it precedes.
SUBSCRIBE [Firstname Lastname]
SUB [First Last]
- Subscribe to the specified mailing list using the address
in the "From" field of your message and the optional first
and last names if present.
UNSUBSCRIBE
UNSUB
SIGNOFF
- Cancel your subscription to the specified mailing list. You
must send this request from the address you originally used
to subscribe to the list.
