The index.php is the form and the upload.php is the file that does the work 1. create a folder in your webdirectory called upload and upload the files 2. In this directory make another folder called files and set the permission to 777 the files folder this is where the files will get sent 3. Now in the upload.php you have to change 3 variables one is the full path to your files folder /your/full/path/httpd/upload/files 4. Second is the email address where the notification will be sent 5. After the upload is completed you have to put in the http://www.yourwebsite\upload/files and the visitor may click on the link to see the file. I like to use it to control the file on the webspace instead of getting it through the mail. You can use it if you have a photo gallery or greeting cards that visitors may send to you and you can put it up on your site. Enjoy bossman www.diction.net |
