If the data matches a rule, the port will be forwarded to that rules specifications. ----HOW DO KNOW HOW TO CREATE A RULE?---- Using the "Capture First Data Packet to SPF.log file" Option makes the task of creating rules Easy! Since you will be able to actually dump the first data packet of the program you are forwarding to a log file, which is located in the programs directory (C:\Program Files\Smart Port Forwarding\SPF.log) ----STARTUP SWITCHES---- the -m switch will start the program minimize in the system tray, and will automatically start all the port forwarding items in the list after 30 seconds. Note: when using the -m switch, if you restore the program from the system tray before 30 seconds, it will cancel the autostarting of the ports. |
